Cakes and French Macarons

Cakes generally run $4.00 - $7.00 per slice plus art work, depending on art work involved. For example if you want cake for 10 people, multiply 10 x 4 = 40.00 plus art work involved. This is the reason I operate by appointment. There is no way to quote you an exact price on a cake without a consultation. Pictures and prices are ballpark examples and list prices these cakes have been sold for. For exotic and expensive chocolates and flavors there are additional fees as well. Best Idea---come with a budget and tell me what you want. Then we can work together to make everything perfect for you. Couture Bead Encrusted Cake

8 inch three layer cake in your choice of flavor butter cream filling fondant covering hours upon hours of overlay work you may request certain colors but this may increase wait time as the beads do have to be made by hand. Larger cakes are possible as for a wedding or other special occasion but at least one month notice is required to produce this design inspired by Lori Hutchinson.

Hand made macarons with fresh butter cream filling. Consult me about flavors. I make these to order by the dozen. Lead time is one week minimum. French macarons are traditionally very petite. I make all of mine slightly oversized and I offer them by the bakers dozen(13). Cappuccino, fresh strawberry, fresh lemon, pistachio are just some of the flavors I make. Some fruits are seasonal so inquire regarding what is available. I only use fresh ingredients.

Flower Garden Cake

Roses Cake - Red Velvet or any other flavor

Double layer Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting Roses. A feast for the eyes and the palette! Cut conservatively will feed 20. Prepared to order. Roses may be tinted any color. Can be created with any cake flavor. Plaquette of sugar with special greeting available for additional fee!


Solar System Cake

This presents as fresh strawberry cake with a butter cream frosting and Fondant covering. The cake may be any flavor you wish. Solar system ornamentation is all hand painted and created. Space Ice of poured hot sugar work is sculpted to appear as a large space ice structure jutting from the top of the cake. I can do a more angular style of ice structure but recommend against that as a safety precaution. Double layer cake serves 12-15 depending on how you slice it.


Baby Girl Birthday

Any flavor of cake and buttercream frosting may be used here. Pink Fondant covering, edible lace, hand made flowers of sugar, and a satin fondant dress all ornament this precious cake. A white chocolate medallion delivers a Happy Birthday message near the sugar flower arrangement. Flowers are hand made and may be custom ordered. There are a number of possibilities in alteration here. Flowers, baby dress, lace, icing color. May alterations may be made to customize this design for you! More customization may incur an increase in price. Double layer 8 inch cake cut conservatively will serve 20.


All About the Bride

Champagne cake covered in antique white vanilla bean butter cream is the most delicious cake I make. Even wedding event planners have begged for the left over cake! Hand made flowers of lilies, mums, spider mums, roses, peonies, and more. Flowers can be shaded to bride's prefered color palette. Butter cream has never been better, made with real butter and vanilla beans! Fondant work will increase over all pricing. The cake serves 120 conservatively.


Garden Delight

Champagne cake frosted in vanilla buttercream icing and cloaked in fondant! Hand made flowers in a large arrangement perform a cresent around the upper surface, while individual flowers are applied randomly over the surface. A fondant or chocolate plaquette will display the birthday lady's name! Lots of ornamentation and exquisite flowers make this cake a very special gift for a very special day. May be converted to anniversary, wedding, or Mother's Day cake by adjusting size ect... and is my own original design.


Trailing Garden Cake

Champagne cake frosted in cream cheese vanilla bean butter cream frosting is heavily ornamented with piped icing design around sides of cake. Floral butter cream is custom shaded and piped into flowers and trailing leaves around the top edges. The pink rosettes are made of fresh strawberry buttercream and when combined on the palette with the vanilla buttercream tastes like strawberry ice cream. Tiny dragee pearls ornament some the flower centers and rock candy crystals ornament others. Truly delicious! Serves 15-20 depending on how you cut it!


Hazelnut & Chocolate Mousse French Entremet

A hemisphere is formed of chocolate, then filled with layers of toasted hazelnut cake and chocolate mousse. The dessert is frozen then sprayed with a chocolate gun to deliver this elegant velvet textured chocolate flocked finish. An ornamental finish of piped chocolate ganache tops all and this dessert is positively dreamy as a lovely cool dessert after a meal. Just bring it out of the refrigerator an hour before serving and it's a divine chocolate experience! Other flavors are possible. Can be done with White or Milk Chocolate, or even colored White chocolate for something very festive! You can order this as is, or we can discuss developing a variation of this style of dessert!

Gingerbread Muffins

Gingerbread Muffins - Mona secret recipe. Moist, even, perfect crumb. A light sprinkle of sanding sugar on the top before baking leaves a delicate crunch and offsets the fact that this is not a sugary muffin. The combined spices are so perfectly blended that one will still be savoring the elegance after the muffin is gone. Nuts and sugar glazes may be added on request for additional fees. Wonderful for breakfast, brunch, or tea. Available year round!
